PROOF IN BLACK

If you really wish to enjoy a series of Blogs and experience a brush of the Divine through discrete messages do read “ATOP A HILL”, “DIVINE SHADOWS”, “FRAGRANT FIELDS”, “MYSTERIOUS & MAGICAL”& “ULTRAMARINE BLUE”.

The Bhuleshwar Temple, near ( 55 kms) Pune, Maharashtra, India   is a wonderful example of the Divine expressed through Nature.

If you have read “Mysterious & Magical” you would have seen and read of a temple the Mysterious doorways of which ended in a dead end, A BLACK STONE WALL.

In this post do go back and see the last picture carefully, there are staircase on the Right and Left which lead you to a higher  level.

The Staircase from the dead end below leads a Large Tortoise ( picture below)  carved from a Single Block of black stone, unknown to this region.

To the Left of the Tortoise you can see “Nandi” , the Magical Bull which is the vehicle of Lord Shiva and will always face the Lord.

This is the first evidence  the ruling deity of the Temple in Black is Mahadev.

I may remind my readers it is  mysteriously pitch dark and all is Black.

You will always see Nature represented in every Temple in the form of various Animals, thus ensuring they are protected from being culled.

The Doorway is protected by  Angels and Goddesses and Crocodiles which you must symbolically step over to enter the sanctum sanctorum.

Symbolically you SunLight as the beautifully carved  corridors open into an uncovered courtyard.
