The Colourful Indian Spot Billed Duck helps me redeem my promise.

Enchanted Forests

Spotted a Spot- Bill Duck  in a Spot.

Surprise, Surprise saw this wonderful Feathered Friend in the Midst of a Bustling City.

No Zoo, No Aviary, it was Free but I think in a Spot in a Lily Pond in Sarus Baug, Pune, India.

“The Saras Baug  is a Garden ( Baug is Garden in Marathi)  in the Heart of the City of the Peshwas, Pune.

It was at one time home to Sarus Cranes ( do check out a 13 month old  blog titled  ONE, NO TWO, OH THREE, SORRY IT’S A PARTY OF FOUR  to see these Gracious Birds) .

There is a Lovely Ganesha  Temple in Saras Baug which dates back to the time of the Peshwas in the 18th century.”
