  1. as a little child I would sometimes find dead sparrows on the side of the road when I walked to and from school – they always seemed perfect – no obvious signs of damage – perhaps they had been hit by a car? – whatever the cause – these small creatures called to me and I would gently move them further on to the grass or under a bush – until the day when I found a blackbird and took it home – that wasn’t well received – references to birds keep turning up in all sorts of places at the moment – something’s in the wind …

  2. Birds die like other animals and also humans. I have often wondered wha we dont see more dead birds, as there are so many of them. I guess normally there are other animals which eat them quick, only not in a Hotel…
