Looking at Pushkar through the eyes of  Rock Pigeons ( Columba livia)  reveals the tranquility of Nature .

The Rock Pigeons Sun bathe atop an inverted Lotus as they scan the still waters and Ghats  of the Holy Lake at Pushkar .( see the featured image )

Nature is in Harmony and all is Peaceful.

The Rock Pigeons or Blue Rock Doves lazily gaze  at the  Hills, the white marble Sikh Temple ( Gurudwara) and Tree tops from their Post atop a 16th century monument.

Leaving one at the Post ,the rest undertake an aerial scan of the Lake and circle above the buildings at the Ghats.

Do have a close look  at the extreme  left of the photograph below.

Look out for the Albino Blue Rock Doves, they are all white.

Do you see anything? If not , am zooming in to reveal another flock circling above the ancient buildings.

The arched domes represent the unique architecture of medieval  Rajasthan.

The steps leading to the lake shore are called Ghats where devotees take a dip during the month of Kartik ( Oct-Nov) .
