Immortal Memories

Wildflowers bloom in absolute freedom. They have an intrinsic beauty hard to describe.

In contrast to cultivated flowers , they are usually  small, very discrete and you have to literally double over to view them.

These  beautiful ever smiling flowers of the aster family bloom in the Himalayas. Like Sunflowers they gaze at the Sun and smile.

Violet Dandelion or Lactuca macrorhiza ( scientific)  synonym Cicerbita  macrorhiza

They bring to life a torrent of memories of my Aunt Sarla , my  protective angel during the darkest days of my life.

Discretely  they adorn the  Himalayan hills of Mussoorie winning the hearts of all who bend down and gaze at them.

  1. You have a fascinating blog. This is what I like about wordpress(diversity) and this is why I call it “my free online university”, great theme for the blog and one that I´m glad to discover . Glad you stumbled upon one of my posts.

  2. A photographer who renders beauty to smuck, abandoned and ignored nature. Well, this is a consolidated comment for all your posts from mummified fish to derelict corners of mushroom trail 🙂

    Pretty innovative and empathetic.
