THE LADY IN PINK

Goats (Capra aegagrus hircus) share a strong bond with their owners.

They trust them with their lives.

In these pictures the owner protects the goat  from the cold with a  pink crochet dress.

Pictures tell so many tales. The strong bond between the keeper and the Goat pours out of  the picture. It  lovingly nudges its head against the knee of the owner who hold it by its ears.

Have a look at this gentle and beautiful lady in pink. Look at the eyes .

Do observe how it’s hair has been braided and decorated as well.

See how one of the forelegs is but one step behind the other leg. So feminine, so dainty.

Does it know where it is being taken?

The picture shows the pots and pans of a famous shop selling an assortment of  Mutton dishes.

Mutton in India is usually not  Mutton from a  Lamb (Ovis Aries)  , it is the meat of THE GOAT.

Had the Goat been ‘betrayed’ by the one it had trusted ?

  1. There is an option for ‘features image ‘ to your left when you are writing a new post . Set the best picture that you wish to appear on everyone’s reader as the featured image ( same way as you insert the pictures in your post ) . That was the picture will be spread out ..no white area in the frames .

  2. this is one thing I just don’t get! how can they slaughter, I was watching exactly the same thing in the building where I live, Mahan Kali puja, boy it gave me creeps!

My ex family worships mother goddess Kali and yes, to worship her properly you will have to sacrifice, I just could not bond with the Goddess for years, even though I knew she had nothing to do with that, it is we who do it in her name. I used to go there for Kalipuja but never stayed around during sacrifice (even though it is must)- boy I hated it!

BTW I am non vegetarian by choice. kill to eat is ok for me.
